1. Introduction

At Devkings Technologies Limited, we value transparency, professionalism, and customer satisfaction. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be requested for:

  • Training & Course Payments (Physical, Virtual, or On-Demand).

  • Client Projects & Paid Services across all our business units, including:

  • Software & App Development

  • IT Infrastructure, Cloud & DevOps

  • Cybersecurity

  • UI/UX & Branding

  • Smart Solutions & IoT

  • IT Consulting & Training

  • Project Management

This policy is aligned with global ICT service standards and ensures fairness to both our clients and our team.

2. Refund Policy for Training & Courses

2.1 Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds for training programs (online, onsite, cohort-based, or self-paced) are granted only under the following conditions:

a. Before Training Commences

A participant who wishes to withdraw 7 days or more before the start date is eligible for a 90% refund (10% admin/processing fee applies).

Withdrawal less than 7 days and up to 48 hours before start qualifies for a 70% refund.

b. After Training Commences

Once training has begun, no monetary refunds are issued.

Participants may request:

  • A slot in the next cohort, or

  • Course transfer to another program of equal or lower value (subject to availability),

provided such request is made before the 2nd class/session.

c. On Recorded / Self-Paced Courses

Refunds are not available for courses where materials, videos, or digital access have already been issued.

d. Non-Attendance

Failure to attend a live class does not qualify a student for a refund.

Missed classes may be made up through:

  • Access to recorded sessions (where available), or

  • Free placement in the next cohort (subject to approval).

3. Refund Policy for Services & Client Projects

3.1 Upfront Payments & Deposits

All project/service payments—covering software development, cloud services, cybersecurity, branding, IoT installations, consulting, DevOps, AI/ML, etc.—follow this rule:

Initial deposits are non-refundable, as they cover:

  • Project initiation

  • Research and planning

  • Resource allocation

  • Proposal and architectural design

  • Server/environment setup

3.2 Refundable Scenarios

A partial refund may be granted only in these situations:

a. Work Has Not Started

If the project has not yet moved beyond planning and no deliverable has been produced, a refund of 70% of the initial payment may be issued.

b. Client Cancels After Partial Work

If work has commenced:

  • The client is eligible for a pro-rated refund based on the percentage of work completed.

  • Completed milestones, designs, deployments, and deliverables already provided are non-refundable.

3.3 Non-Refundable Scenarios

No refund will be issued in the following situations:

  • The project has progressed beyond the agreed first milestone.

  • The client fails to provide timely feedback, approvals, or materials causing project delay.

  • The client changes the project scope or requirements.

  • The client terminates the project after significant development work has been done.

  • Digital assets already delivered (code, UI/UX, prototypes, documentation, servers, cloud resources) are already in the client's possession.

4. Service-Specific Guidelines

4.1 Software & App Development

Deposits and milestone payments are non-refundable once development of modules, UI/UX, or backend architecture has started.

4.2 IT Infrastructure, Cloud, DevOps

Cloud purchases (AWS/Azure/GCP), hosting, DevOps pipelines, domain registration, and server configurations are non-refundable once provisioned.

4.3 Cybersecurity Services

Security audits, penetration tests, threat monitoring, and hardening services are non-refundable once the engagement begins due to the technical nature and confidentiality of the work.

4.4 Branding, UI/UX & Digital Experience

Design fees, prototypes, Figma files, wireframes, and assets are non-refundable once delivered.

4.5 IoT & Smart Installations

Hardware purchases, setup, and installation fees are non-refundable once installation has begun or hardware has been opened.

4.6 Consulting & Corporate Training

Consultation fees, strategy sessions, enterprise training, and digital transformation audits are non-refundable once the session is delivered.

5. Refund Processing Timeline

Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days.

Refunds are issued via:

  • Bank transfer

  • Payment platform used during purchase

Processing fees charged by payment gateways may be deducted (based on provider terms).

6. Project Termination by Devkings Technologies Limited

Devkings Technologies Limited reserves the right to cancel or decline a project under rare circumstances such as:

  • Client violates contract terms.

  • Client engages in fraudulent or illegal activities.

  • Ethical or security risks are identified.

In such cases, a fair pro-rated refund will be issued for work not yet carried out.

7. Chargebacks & Disputes

Clients are encouraged to contact our support team before initiating any chargeback. Fraudulent chargebacks will lead to:

  • Account suspension

  • Reversal of delivered projects

  • Legal action if necessary
